Oversize Baggage Fee Between USA and UK
- If oversize baggage (including TV) is part of the free baggage allowance and is under 62" in total linear dimensions then no extra baggage charges apply.
- If oversize baggage (including TV) is an additional piece and under 62" in total linear dimensions the fee is USD 240 / GBP 180 between EWR and LHR.
- If oversize baggage (including TV) is part of the free baggage allowance and is in excess of 62" and within 80" in total linear dimensions the fee is USD 240 / GBP 180 between EWR and LHR.
- If the oversize baggage (including TV) is an additional piece and measures between 62" to 80" in total linear dimensions the fee is USD 480 / GBP 360 between EWR and LHR.
- If oversize baggage (including TV) is part of the free baggage allowance and is in excess of 80’' in total linear dimensions the fee is USD 720 / GBP 540 between EWR and LHR.
- If the oversize baggage (including TV) is an additional piece and exceeds 80" in total linear dimensions the fee is USD 720 / GBP 540 between EWR and LHR.

| Pets |
Pets are not permitted on Air India’s nonstop flights between the USA and India, except for Certified Service Dogs which are permitted free of charge for Blind/Deaf passengers. |
| Unaccompanied Minors |
Unaccompanied minors are assessed the following charges:
Ages 5 to 11 years of age – The applicable adult fare.
Under 5 years of age – Not accepted unaccompanied. |
| Stretchers |
Between USA and India the charge of a stretcher is 4.5 times the normal economy class fare. Stretchers are only permitted in the Economy Class cabin. |

No fee is assessed when purchasing tickets on "www.airindia.in"
Note: Online bookings may attract a Foreign Transaction Fee (typically not more than 3%) from your Credit Card issuer.
No fee is assessed at Air India Ticket Offices. |
| Reservation Changes |
Revalidation/Reissues fees depend on the fare purchased (usually USD 125.00 for economy class fares, and free for First and Executive Class fares). Check the applicable fare rule or contact Air India for details. |
| Cancellation and No-show Penalties |
Reservations booked on "www.airindia.in" may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase without a penalty if purchased more than 7 days prior to departure. Within 7 days of departure, applicable fare rules apply.
Cancellation Penalties depend on the fare purchased. Most fares attract a Cancellation and/or No-show Penalty ranging from USD 200.00 to USD 300.00. Some special/ sale fares may be fully non-refundable. Check the applicable fare rule or contact Air India for
