Young Passengers Travelling Alone to / from UK

As per mandatory requirement of Home Office, UK Border Force, all Young Passengers (YP), between the age of 12 to 16 years, travelling alone to / from UK are required to have a Parental / Guardian Consent form completed.The form can be downloadedClick here.PDF file that opens in new window.   • The consent form is to be filled in duplicate. A copy of parent/ guardian's current passport (or other form of photographic identification showing their signature) must be attached with the consent form.
  • The duplicate copy of the completed consent form along with the parent / guardian’s photo identification is to be handed over to the Air India Check-in agent at the time of departure. The original copy must remain in possession of the Young Passenger during the entire journey.

Upon request from the parent / guardian, special handling will be provided by Air India at the airport of departure and arrival.
